When I began my practice, I focused primarily on residential real estate, learning the basics of real estate law, and finding that real estate law quickly includes various other practice areas – contract law, estate planning, corporate law, tax law, to name a few.
As my practice grew, so did my desire to learn more about the practice of real estate and to expand the areas of real estate in which I was practicing. I have had the pleasure of practicing in Hampton Roads, Virginia, Washington DC and I have lived and practiced in the largest real estate market in the United States – New York City. Throughout my years of practice, I have had the pleasure of assisting large publicly traded companies expand their footprint, franchises grow into new jurisdictions, and just as challenging (and personally more rewarding), assisting sole proprietors in achieving their dreams. This is the point that sticks with me and the reason that I opened Couch Jessee Law. I want clients (no matter the size) to obtain the “large firm” quality of representation with the “small firm” experience of knowing your matter is important.
